To test out other Commlets and open
your own private channels, use the ComoIRCClient .
On the right in the applet window, you will see the text that is exchanged in the SuperChat session. Type something in the line below this text field to send it to all toher users. The buttons below that line will play a a short audio clip on all the other user's machines.
On the left, you will see a list of the users on the channel. Your entry will be at the very top. The pictures you seen next to the names are freely selectable from a list of available pictures. Due to netscape restrictive security policies, you currently can not use your own pictures here. Too bad... Click on the empty button left of your name to select yours. You may select a group of users by clicking on their pictures. You can then send them private messages bu clicking on the "Whisper" button.

You will be able to see the teachers current message when the applet window pops up. If you are the first one on this channel, you will be the teacher. You will be able to control the Draw Commlet and you can change the text that will be displayed in the other's main windows.
This Commlet includes a Draw and a SuperChat Commlet. Read their help pages for more information.

To test out other Commlets and open
your own private channels, use the ComoIRCClient .
When the window pops up, you will see what the other already drew and you will be able to start drawing. The others will be able to see what you draw. You can change the draw tools by selecting an icon on the left. If you select the image paste mode, you will be able to select an image from the Como Server's directory. Currently, you can not paste your own local files due to netscape's to restrictive security policies.
Push the DEL key to delete the last object you drew. The first one to join this channel will be able to clear the board if necessary.
In most draw modes, you can hold down the meta key or use the right mouse button to constrain the object you create to a circle, rectangle, or image with correct aspect ratio etc.
If you select "Owner's" in the Color mode choice at the bottom on the left, you will see the objects everyone drew in their respective colors. Users who have left will be displayed in italics and removed the next time the board is cleared. That way, you can still see what they drew after they left.

At first, you will probably only be able to watch the game that is currently running. When it's over, you will be abl to play in the next game.
If you are the first one on this channel or the first one left and you are lucky, you will be able to decide which game is played. Check to see if the Game menu contains highlighted entries. If so, you may start a new game.
The rules of the game are configurable, so you will be able to select a particular game type from a list of games. Click OK to start the game.
When it's your turn, simply click where you want to put your piece. If one of the players does not move and you are getting bored, or if a player has left, you may select "Skip" from the "Game" menu to skip that player.
This is a MetaCommlet. You can select open the SuperChat window and a player list from the "View" menu.

When the window pops up, you will see a week overview. Click on a field to adjust whether that date&time would be OK for you or not. To select/deselect a whole day or time of the day, click on the weekday or time frame box.
When everybody has mode their choices, You can select "Suggest Date" from the "Scheduler" menu to report the best dates to the Chat Commlet included as a plug in in the Scheduler Commlet. You can then discuss anything else there.
